About Vera

Vera's wedding photography goes beyond the typically posed portraits - she has a gift for capturing special, intimate moments throughout any event, resulting in unique, creative and very memorable images. Her style applies not only to wedding, but engagement, family, model, and senior photos as well. Her images celebrate life and emotion. Her grandmother, Julia, was her greatest inspiration. She always loved Vera's photos. Her zest for life encouraged Vera to follow her dreams, find her gift, and give it to others. Upon her death, her words of wisdom and encouragement provided Vera the inspiration to actually turn her passion and gift for photography into a business. Positive feedback continues to inspire her.
Because Vera takes more photographs than most photographers, and because her style is to use more candids, she poses fewer photos, usually only traditional group shots. She likes to capture events as they naturally unfold - spontaneous emotions and real relationships are a hallmark of her work. This style is much less intrusive, and it means you, your wedding party, your family, and friends will ultimately have a much more enjoyable evening. You'll appreciate the difference. At the end of the day, you'll have a beautiful, compelling, and very personal storybook album that you and your family will cherish a lifetime.
Vera's work was recently shown on Dr. 90210 (an E. Network production) and has been featured in Detroit Bride, Hometown Living, Photographic Magazine and Shutterbug Magazine, and taken 1st Place in the 2006 Endless Journey photo contest. Vera also uses her talent to benefit local non-profit organizations. She has two weddings published in Texas Wedding guide magazine this year and in the last 2 years shot for Living Magazine in Texas and just shot her 40th cover.
